Hammond Woodworking specializes in custom furniture pieces. Our clients receive heirloom quality furniture they will love and enjoy for the rest of their lives. Perhaps even through the lives of their great grandkids.
The design process typically begins with a relatively vague description of the project in mind. Then we have a conversation about specific design elements and preferences. This can include basic preferences like dimensions and wood species and will eventually extend to cover more detailed aspects like decorative profiles, hardware and the sheen of finish.
Hammond Woodworking remains in contact with our clients through the entire build process. We send progress pictures at various stages of assembly so clients can see their piece begin to take shape. Additionally, we make sure to clarify details and design elements in order to ensure our clients are fully satisfied with all aspects of the final product.

At Hammond Woodworking we also enjoy infusing new life into your treasured family pieces. Restoration typically involves stripping or sanding away the old finish, re-staining, and refinishing. The process can be challenging at times, but the end result makes our hearts sing!

We can also perform various smaller tasks for our clients.
We cut larger timber down to your desired dimensions. We can route profiles on the edges of your boards. Or maybe you just need a bunch of pieces cut to exactly the same size. We can do that too! Just give us a call and we’ll chat about what you need.
